This was easy without any trouble.

That said, I was expecting the package to be delivered in the morning as I asked.
But, the delivery was made in the afternoon and it was a bit unexpected.

I also found that product package was actually crushed while the delivered box has no damage at all.
I suppose it was how the products were packed by the merchant and that is how many US merchants handle shipping.

Nonetheless, the actual items had no damage at all.
I didn't have to worry about a thing as I waited for the arrival of the package although I am new to personal import.

• Here are positive things that I have say about KGS

1) I found many goods at US shops that I cannot get in Japan. However, most of the time those merchants don't ship their goods to Japan. I was lucky to find your service otherwise I would have given up on those American goods.

2) There are US merchants who ships their merchandise to Japan but it is so hard to find them. But, now I know that I don't go through such a hastle to find a particular shop but instead find what I want and have KGS handle the rest. It's a relief.

3) US merchants usually charge my credit card as they ship product so it is important for me to chose reliable package forwarding company, otherwise you can be in big trouble not knowing where your goods are. I highly recommend KGS to anyone who is looking for a good package forwarding service vendor. I have used KGS three times recently and I'm very happy with their prompt response to my customer service inquiries. There have been no problems at all.

• Here are some points for improvement

1) I guesstimate how much it is going to cost before I placed my order. However, it is hard to estimate how much international shipping will cost as it is often determined by the volume of the package rather than the actual weight of package.

2) Although it has not yet happen but in case of trouble between US merchants and I, can KGS help resolve the issue? I can correspond with merchants but it will be nice if I can use your service facility as US ship to address. In that case I will gladly pay for your service fee and international shipping.

I used to use COD to pay for your service and I recently started using my credit card. I'm not sure when you exactly charge my credit card. It would be great if you can illustrate the process of the actual service and clarify how you charge customer's credit card.

Also, it is not clear for the first time user how your system works. So, hopefully you can make the service page more clear and easier to understand.

That said, I found your service useful when I want to buy goods from US merchants who do not ship outside of US territory. Thus, I'll continue to use your service.

I realize that many good US products are not readily available in Japan.
It takes a large market demand to have an old school trading company begin distributing goods from overseas domestically in Japan. I find your business viable and it can benefit many consumers in Japan.
I was avoiding personal import or buying goods from overseas due to complicated paper work and other tedious work to do it. However, your service makes it so easy to start using personal import.

I wanted to buy directly from Starbucks in Seattle, but their online store didn't support shipping their coffee beans to Japan.

I did a search for "Personal Import Company" on the internet and found a handful of companies. After careful examination, I chose KGS. I used your "Standard Service" to have multiple products shipped to you and forward them to Japan.

This was my first time and I was a bit anxious about buying goods from overseas. I'm thankful for your handling my request for consolidation of multiple packages into one single package and holding the packages until all the goods arrived. I love America and Seattle in particular. I have traveled to Seattle two times in the past two year. I love Downtown, Water Front, Pike Place market, the Starbacks flagship store, Safeco field., etc.

I couldn't make it to Seattle this year, but I'm enjoying the feel of Seattle by buying Starbucks coffee and clothes from Seattle apparel stores. (I wish your service fee can be slightly lower. For example, US shipping & handling fee will be excluded from your service fee calculation.)

I has some issue understanding how to use your service. I wish there is some step by step guide for ordering that I could have read prior to actually ordering. That way I'm sure that people will have no problem completing the order.

It would be nice If I could place an order to the KGS shopping cart while I'm at the merchant's page. Perhaps, some kind of browser plug in may be useful to allow users to add products in one click.

International shipping cost is something we all are concerned about when it comes to buying from overseas. It would be nice to have more information about how much it will cost to ship goods from US to Japan. I'm especially interested in large item such as furniture and beds,etc.

I'm quite happy with the customer service after placing an order. The customer service representative was very kind and professional.
I not able to use your service frequently but I hope you keep up with the good work.

Excellent customer service: Very thorough and quick resolution to my inquiries.
It would be useful to have more specific examples about international shipping and other handling fees.

I hate to say this but the shipping costs can be higher than the actual price of the goods when importing from overseas.

My only comment is that buying process from overseas take much longer than you expect if you are used to the Japanese standard. Other than that KGS does a good job.

KGS customer service reps. seems to understand how e-mail communication works. A confirmation mail from KGS was falsely detected as spam by my provider and yet KGS figured it out to send a follow up that could reach me. I was wondering for a while why it was taking so long to get back to me but after all I was able to get what I wanted.

I use KGS service frequently.
There has never been much trouble doing business with KGS but one time when a DVD arrived with a defect, KGS resolved the issue very quickly and sent out a new DVD free of charge. I used "Premium Service".

When purchasing goods from overseas, the care after the actual purchase is very difficult to get from overseas merchants. But, KGS can take care of it for me until I am happy with the result.

I recommend KGS to everyone.
